Event Gates Open at 4:00pm
Kid Zone Area – includes Face Painting, Inflatables, Petting Zoo, Touch a Truck and more!!
Food & Beverage – Fat Kid Philly’s will have their full menu available. Alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase throughout the event.
Live Music (approximately 6:00pm) – there will be 2-3 local bands that will open for our headliner – which will be announced in February.
Fireworks Show (approximately 10:00pm) – the festival will conclude with a state of the arts fireworks show!
Veterans – Veterans free admission tickets can be picked up at Hy-vee on 26th and Marion (Must provide proof of service)
Huset’s Speedway has generously donated the space for us to hold the First Annual Freedom Festival! The festival grounds will include camping, general admission (standing room), grandstand seating, tower suites, meet & greets and more.
Our Purpose
Midwest Veterans Fundraising Group, 501 (C)3 non-profit organization based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Our mission is to honor our veterans with respect and gratitude for their service to our nation.
Formed by a dedicated group of local business owners, our goal is to raise funds for specific local and regional veterans programs in South Dakota, SW Minnesota, NE Nebraska and NW Iowa.
Midwest Honor Flight
The FIRST Annual Freedom Festival will be raising money for the Midwest Honor Flight – with a mission to transport America’s Veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit those memorials dedicated to honor the service and sacrifices of themselves and to fellow Veterans.
The goal of the Midwest Veterans Fundraising Group and the Freedom Festival is to raise enough funds to fill one Honor Flight, which is $175,000.

When and where is the Freedom Festival?
The Freedom Festival will be held on Saturday, September 21st, at Huset’s Speedway in Sioux Falls, SD. Gates open at 4:00 PM!
What activities are available at the festival?
The festival will feature live music, a family-friendly Kid Zone with inflatables, face painting, and Touch-A-Truck, delicious food vendors, and a spectacular fireworks show to end the night!
How much are tickets, and how do I purchase them?
Veterans get in FREE! General admission tickets are $25, and VIP tickets are $100. VIP tickets include a meet-and-greet with all the artists, pit access, an exclusive bar, and private bathrooms. Kids 12 and under get in FREE!

Do veterans get free admission?
Yes! All veterans receive FREE admission to the festival. You can pick up your free tickets at Hy-Vee on Marion Road, email us at [email protected], or show your valid military ID at the gate on the day of the event.
Can I still volunteer or sponsor the event?
